About the role

Reporting to our Head of Advisory & Consulting, your role in our team will be critical to focusing our energy on the things that matter in Tasmania.

As a Management Consultant, you’ll:

  • Be responsible for engaging with current and potential clients to build trusted relationships, understand common problems, develop, and convert a consistent pipeline of engagements.
  • Execute business development activities with an agreed target list, account management with existing clients.
  • Work on presales activities to develop a detailed understanding of client problems and develop tailored solutions using our suite of repeatable approaches.
  • Contribute learnings from your clients/successful projects into our product development processes.
  • Work closely with our senior leadership team to ensure continual improvement and refinement of our service delivery, and support decision making.

About you

  • You’ve had experience achievingresults in management consulting, business development or similar role.
  • You have strong commercial acumenand can apply your knowledge to take complex problems and distill them intosolutions for different audiences/businesses at different levels of maturity.
  • You’re experienced in developing high-quality scopes of work, deliveryplans and associated budgets for the implementation of organisational changeinitiatives.
  • You have effective interpersonalskills, and actively listen and adjust your own behavior to foster meaningfulrelationships and provide quality customer service to clients.
  • You understand or have experienceworking with local businesses in sales and/or board/community-based activities.
  • Experienced using various CRM systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Project Works.
